The intellectual property rights of the People First Tobak Che and People First Tojang Che, created by the People First Seongbuk Center, belong to the People First Seongbuk Center, the individuals who participated in the creation, and the supporting organizations, the Seoul Metropolitan Government and Seongbuk District.

The fonts can be downloaded for free from the People First Seongbuk Center website and other font download sites. Individuals and companies may use them for both profit and non-profit purposes. However, when used for profit or commercial purposes, the author and source must be indicated. Modifying the font files (OTF/TTF) or selling them for a fee is prohibited.

The People First fonts were created with the support of the Seoul Metropolitan Government and Seongbuk District.
